ACTIVITIES
FISHING & SHOOTING
There is a great variety available to the angler and hunts man. For the keen angler there is lake fishing at Milford's Lough Fern and trout fishing at the picturesque Bunlin Bridge. Facilities are available for the deep-sea angler, the gun enthusiast and there is also private trout fishing along the route.
WALKS & ACTIVITY SPORTS
There are organised walking groups in the area - the Mevagh Ramblers and the Milford Walking Group. We have the Golan Pad Walk, (sign posted from Milford), and a 2km forestry walk at the lay by in Woodquarter with breath-taking views of the Mulroy Bay. In the village of Kerrykeel there is a walk that takes you to the Dolmen Stone. There are a wide variety of sports halls and amenities all along the bay that caters for all sports. We also have 8 Walking & Cycling Routes on the back roads leading onto the main Mulroy Drive (featured on our website at "Walking & Cycling Routes).
HORSE RIDING & CYCLING
There are horse riding treks along the route that will take you through the beautiful hills overlooking Mulroy bay. The Donegal cycle route at Milford takes you to the beautiful waters of Bunlin, the Bunlin Mass Rock and the wonderful Bunlin Waterfall.

GOLF & HERITAGE
A golfers paradise can be found along the Mulroy Drive. There is an abundance of heritage and history from the home of the Earls of Leitrim, thatched cottages, an old forge, craft shops and vintage centres. With vintage shows running at different stages of the year visit our Facebook page to find out times and venues.

AQUACULTURE & MARINE
There is a thriving marine aquaculture business on the bay with mussel farming, scallop farming, oyster farming and salmon farming. Mulroy Bay is one of the few bays in the world where we have a natural settlement of scallop spat. The water in the bay is monitored weekly by the department of marine and is one of the cleanest bays in the country.
